The Equinox project provides an implementation of the OSGi core framework specification, a set of bundles that implement various optional OSGi services, and other infrastructure for running OSGi-based systems. The Eclipse IDE Working Group enables Renesas to more easily make acontribution when we have limited committers working on the projects thatwe use. Features a huge variety of platform plugins that will ease theaddition of new functionality. The Eclipse Project Charter describes the organization of the project, roles and responsibilities of the participants, and the top-level development process for the project. Development takes place in subprojects working on various GitHub repositories.

Java Development Tools

We joined theEclipse IDE Working Group because it is a great way to get proactivelyinvolved in the IDE and make contributions to keep the platform activeand thriving. Renesas have been using the Eclipse IDE platform and C/C++ DevelopmentToolkit for many years as the basis of our own IDE product. Options for comparing file contents or specific selections with theclipboard content and organising breakpoints by enabled/disabledstatus; and a new search feature in WebKit-based browser widgets witha draggable dialog and an optional disable. Enhanced editor ruler menu to toggle hit-count breakpoints andtrigger points directly and improved custom folding regions allowingthe same comment for start and end of multiple sections.
